Minimal Office Interior in Lalitpur
A sleek, Japanese-Scandinavian inspired corporate interior fit-out for a fintech headquarters in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur.
Project Overview
Located in the heart of Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur, this 3,200 sq. ft. commercial interior design project transforms an open shell into an inspiring tech workspace. Embracing natural birch plywood, acoustic wool panels, and warm LED linear lighting, the layout balances collaboration zones with acoustic focus pods.
The Client Brief
Create an open, light-filled office for 45 engineers and creative directors, featuring flexible hot-desking, three glass meeting rooms, a central cafeteria, and sound-insulated call booths.
Design Challenge
Low ceiling heights (8.5 ft) and deep floor plates made natural daylight penetration difficult towards the central core.
Design Concept & Solution
We stripped away false ceilings to reveal structural waffle slabs, painting them off-white to boost overhead volume. Glass partitions with reeded privacy film allowed sunlight to reach central workstations.
Final Architectural Outcome
Delivered a highly productive, biophilic workspace that increased employee satisfaction by 40% and served as a benchmark office in Lalitpur.
